 Hi guys! 

My name is Victoria Jackson and I am a 32 year old Entrepreneur from Toronto, Canada who suffers from Chronic Illnesses.

I have Stage 3 Endometriosis, Endosalpingiosis, Interstitial Cystitis and Insulin Resistance.

I own & run a company called Blue Danube Sausage House Ltd (meat manufacturing for wholesale & retail) and Victoria's Markets (product distribution). I also own Bookeeping & Tax Solutions with my Husband, Adam, and have many other passion projects on the go - including this Blog! We have a three year old pitbull/shephard/husky mix named Satoshi and quite a few cyclid fish!

My Endo Journey actually started around age 5, when I started having severe pelvic pain. It wasn't until my first period, at the age of 12, that doctors began to take my pain seriously. As soon as my first period arrived, it was very clear that something was very wrong. I bled heavily twice a month, lost a lot of weight, became anemic and very pale, started having horrible daily pains daily & during my period and started fainting a lot.

Unfortunately, my Journey took me through many doctors, over 10 different kinds of Birth Control (starting at the age of 14) and many years of suffering. 

Finally, at the age of 31, I found a doctor who truly believed me and believed that I could live a HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) free life after surgery. 

In July 2020, I travelled from Toronto to Atlanta (during the pandemic) for a 5 hour surgery that changed my life and finally brought me the answers I was looking for!

I'm now just over 6 months post-op and my symptoms have reduced drastically. I'm also currently starting my first round of IVF.

If you're Chronically Ill, you know that overcoming one battle usually means that there is another battle coming up!
